City in the Community Celebration Evening

A2 students on our Football Coaching and Development course, delivered in partnership with City in the Community, recently celebrated the end of their studies at a special event held at Joie Stadium.

The event brought together students from Connell College and Oldham College who have also completed the programme, providing an opportunity to reflect on their achievements and celebrate the successful completion of two years of hard work.

We have been proud to offer a girls' pathway alongside the boys' programme for a number of years. Throughout the course, students combine classroom-based learning with valuable industry experience, taking part in coaching placements over a 10-week period each year. They also represent the college in weekly fixtures against local colleges and teams, helping to develop both their coaching and playing skills.

It was a fantastic evening and a fitting way to celebrate the students' achievements. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and look forward to seeing where their next steps take them.
