Trustee
We are seeking individuals who are interested in joining our board of trustees, to lead the Trust into the next phase of our development. We wish to appoint people who knows what steps are needed to improve a school in a sustainable manner, but with pace, and who has the inspirational and organisational qualities to take a strategic lead on that journey, whilst preserving and further developing the beliefs, values and culture of the Academies within the Trust.

In looking to fill these vacancies we are interested in applications from people with the skills outlined below:
Audit, finance and risk
The trust seeks a trustee with strong audit, finance and risk experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in a charity or non-profit organisation, as well as demonstrating experience from a commercial, retail or industry setting, including evidence of contribution to growing a business, chain of businesses or franchises, as well as experience of head office and organisational development, including driving efficiency improvements in central services.
Education and School Improvement
The trust seeks a trustee who possesses skills and experience from across the educational landscape, with a specific requirement for school leadership. Experience of working in a role with responsibility for school improvement is welcomed.
Business, Governance and Human Resources
The trust seeks individuals who possess a strong ‘general’ skillset from across the business sphere, with a specific requirement for growth management. Experience working in a role with responsibility for corporate governance, legal services or human resources would be valuable.
Commitment
Trusteeship is a voluntary, unpaid role for people who have the energy and skills to make a real contribution to shaping the future of our schools. You do not need to have any specialist knowledge of education.
The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per month during term time as a minimum. Board meetings are held at the Trust’s registered office at Ashton Sixth Form College (OL6 9RL), mainly in the evenings.

HR Advisor
HR Advisor - Stamford Park Trust
Full-time Permanent position
(based at Ashton Sixth Form College)
Salary: Grade 7 Spine Point 15 (£32,199) - Spine Point 18 (£35,395).
We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Advisor to join our central HR team who has experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking and delivering to deadlines are crucial to the role. and play a pivotal role in shaping a positive employee experience. This is an exciting opportunity to support HR operations and drive people initiatives that strengthen our culture and performance.
In this role, you’ll provide expert HR guidance across a range of areas such as managing employee relations, coaching and advising line managers to build capability and confidence and championing staff wellbeing and driving employee engagement.
We’re looking for a HR profession who can work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments. The post holder will be working with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as well as a flexible approach to the role.
The post holder must hold CIPD accreditation.

Cleaner
Cleaner (Evening)
15 hour per week – 3 hours per shift (plus 3 weeks)
(Shift start time from 3.30pm)
Grade A – SCP 2 – £13.01 per hour
To ensure the school environment is welcoming, clean and safe we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic candidate to join our cleaning team.
Working effectively, alongside other members of the team, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of all areas of the school, including classrooms, stairs, toilets and corridors.
Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A willingness to be flexible in your approach, acting in a professional manner, paying attention to detail, and having the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations and health and safety guidelines are all qualities, which are essential.
The post which 15 hours per week is to be worked during term time as directed by the Site Managers/Operations Manager to ensure the needs of the school are met. An additional 3 weeks worked in the main summer holidays will also be required.
