Celebrating our A1 students!
This week, we’ve been celebrating our A1 students as they reach the end of their first year at college.
To mark the occasion, we held our A1 Recognition and Awards Ceremony, an event dedicated to recognising students who have gone above and beyond this year. Teaching staff nominated students for outstanding academic achievement, while colleagues from across the college, including our Inclusive Learning team, Senior Tutors, and Ashton Explore (enrichment), selected students who demonstrated exceptional engagement, dedication, and contribution to college life.
In total, over 150 students were recognised for their efforts and accomplishments. It was a wonderful celebration, full of pride and positivity, and a fitting way to acknowledge the progress these students have made in their first year. We can’t wait to see what they’ll achieve in their final year!
After the ceremony, students enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of activities including inflatables, ice cream, sports challenges and much more. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the day and great to see students celebrating each other and making lasting memories together.
A huge well done to everyone who was recognised for their achievements this year. This includes:
