Record Number of UCAS Applications Submitted!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ashton Sixth Form College has sent off a record-breaking 904 UCAS applications by the deadline, the highest number ever submitted by our students.

Last year’s total UCAS applications, including those submitted through Clearing, was 755. This year’s figure represents a significant increase and reflects the ambition, determination and hard work of our students and our commitment to achieve excellence and ambition for all of them!

 
We are delighted to share that offers are already coming in, including places on some highly competitive university courses. This early success is a testament to both our students’ commitment and the exceptional support they have received throughout the application process. 

We would like to say a huge thank you to our senior tutors, senior tutor managers, careers team and teaching staff, whose guidance, encouragement and commitment have been invaluable every step of the way. 

Alongside university applications, many students have also applied for highly sought-after apprenticeships and employment opportunities. We are equally excited to see these applications turn into positive outcomes in the coming weeks.
