Principal's Recognition Lunch December 2025

This term, our Centre Principal Lisa Richards held the first recognition lunch of this academic year. Curriculum areas nominated both A1 and A2 students who have stood out for excellent participation, engagement and diligence.

"Mia recently joined us on the Biology in Action trip to Manchester.  Mia works so hard in lessons, is very focussed and conscientious. Her homework always shows that she has devoted large amounts of time at home to her consolidation and exam question practise. As a result she has achieved high grades in assessments."

"Millie stands out every lesson for excellent participation! She is fully engaged in lesson, will always volunteer an answer to questions as she has extensive criminological knowledge! She will always go above and beyond to support her peers in lesson and will often offer support when students around her may be struggling to complete the task.  Keep up the great work Millie, you're an absolute pleasure to teach!"

Alex is a regular contributor to class discussion and works well with his peers. His homework is always thorough and to a high standard, often going the extra mile to research current affairs and read around the subject. Alex represented the college superbly at the recent open evening, with parents commenting on his professionalism. He has also been actively engaged in extra curricular activities, joining a consultation with Tameside Council on his study day."
