Business Student Excels On Work Placement

Recently, Business student Prince Kondo completed a placement with Booth Industries, where he gained a fantastic insight into how a global manufacturing business operates. During his time there, Prince explored a wide range of processes, from design and procurement through to production, testing and certification, as well as developing his understanding of the commercial side of the business.

At Ashton Sixth Form College, our dedicated Work Placement Coordinators — part of our Careers and Employability team — work closely with employers to secure high-quality, meaningful placements that support our students’ ambitions and future career goals.

Reflecting on his experience, Prince said:
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here and learnt a lot. It’s been interesting to see how closely different departments work together and how much support there is across the business.”
