BUS STRIKES - 19TH AND 22ND SEPTEMBER

We are aware of the bus strikes occurring on Friday 19th and Monday 22nd September which may impact on students travelling via Bee Network buses to the College. We kindly ask that where possible alternative arrangements are made.

Could your young person travel on an alternative independent bus provider?
Could your young person travel on alternative methods? The Our Pass is valid on the Metrolink and Trains during this strike period.
Could they stay over at more local family or friends house?
Could your young person be dropped off at College earlier? We are open from 7:30am.
Could they walk or cycle to College on this occasion?

If there is no alternative and it is impossible for them to get into college, please can we ask parents to contact absences@asfc.ac.uk to inform us. Please also ask your young person to contact their teachers for the work they will miss.

We are asking our teachers not to mark students as late as we understand there may be delays in the roads.
