Realising Aspirations students visit Edge Hill University

10 November 2021

Year 12 students from Ashton Sixth Form College visited Edge Hill University recently.

Students who went on the trip were part of the Realising Aspirations programme, the college's flagship university preparation programme.

As part of the programme, students choose to join a subject strand that interests them most and focuses on their future careers. Students who went to Edge Hill were part of the Creative & Digital Industries strand.

As well as a tour of the university, students had the opportunity to take part in a Media, Film & TV taster day. They were able to experience university life and degree-level study, giving them a greater understanding of what it would be like to study a Creative/Digital subject after college.
