Sport Alumni set to make Olympic debut

Georgia Taylor-Brown has made the journey to Tokyo, Japan, ready to make her Olympic debut.

Georgia is a triathlete, competing in the multisport race of swimming, cycling and running. In 2020, Georgia became World Champion and now has her sights set on an Olympic medal.

She's been competing from a young age, picking up medal after medal including 1st at the 2019 AJ Bell World Triathlon in Leeds and 1st at the 2017 and 2013 European Championships.

At Ashton Sixth Form College, Georgia studied Biology, PE and Psychology, before progressing on to university in Leeds, where she was able to train amongst some of the greats including two time Olympic gold medalist Alistair Brownlee and double Olympic medalist Jonny Brownlee. Alex Yee, today's silver medalist is a Leeds Beckett alumni. She completed her early education at Fairfield High School.

Georgia and Team GB will be live from Tokyo on Monday 26th at 10:30pm BST.
