Raising money for Jeans for Genes Day

20 September 2019

Students and staff took part in Jeans for Genes Day this year.

The day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, a charity that aims to improve the lives individuals and families who are affected by genetic disorders.

The idea is simple, people wear a pair of jeans and donate £1 to the cause. Ashton Sixth Form College managed to raise £180.85. The Student Council led the fundraising, collecting donations from students and staff across the college.
