Manchester Airport Group visited Public Services

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) visited Public Services students at Ashton Sixth Form College.

Mike Kendrick from MAG was welcomed to the level 2 class to speak about the range of apprenticeships available to students after college. 

He presented the work of the airport group that currently owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports. MAG currently host 59 million passenger per year, helping them reach 270 destinations on 70 airlines (MAG).

The company employs over 3,000 people at Manchester Airport alone. The range of roles available across the airport are extensive and diverse.

Mike is the the Apprenticeship and Development Co-ordinator at MAG and spoke to students about what it is like to work at the airport. He gave an overview of the company and explored the upcoming apprenticeship vacancies available for September 2019.
