Business Realising Aspirations students visit Leeds Trinity

20 January 2022

Realising Aspirations students took part in the first trip of 2022!

Students who have chosen the Business strand of the programme visited Leeds Trinity University.

They worked together in small groups to design a food marketing campaign and then produced a poster addressing an environmental issue, developing their teamwork and communication skills.

They then presented their creative ideas to a range of academics and student ambassadors from the university.

The aim of the trip was to allow student to gain a greater understanding of degree-level studies in Business. It also encouraged students to speak to current university students and ask them questions about university life and the application process.

Students who join the Realising Aspirations programme are about to begin making important decisions about their futures in the coming months. In their second year at college, they will begin to apply for university via UCAS or for other routes such as apprenticeships or employment.
