Alumni finance firm wins British Accountancy Award

Former student Adarsh Rajput travelled to London to accept an award alongside his father Kamlesh Rajput. 

Ardash is a Senior Manager at Sterling Finance, a local accountancy firm based in Ashton-under-Lyne. He studied at Ashton Sixth Form College from 2004-2006. His father is the Managing Director of Sterling Finance and over the years, the company have worked with young people and their staff to provide training and foster the next generation of accountants. 

Kamlesh has also hired apprentices from Ashton Sixth Form College, ensuring the next generation of the work force have incredible opportunities in the borough. Charlotte Moss, a former Ashton Sixth Form College student won Apprentice of the Year at the Pride of Tameside Awards 2018.

Entirely Finance stated, "Sterling Finance, with one office in Ashton-under-Lyne and 11 members of staff, saw off global leaders Siemens and KPMG to take home its “Excellence in Accounting and Finance” award from The British Accountancy Awards on Wednesday night."
