Food Bank donations continue at Ashton

16 January 2019

Ashton Sixth Form College has continued to support local food banks in 2019.

The college Chaplain, The Reverend Canon Jean Hurlston, is responsible for organising countless Food Bank contributions in recent years.

Various collection points are set up across the college to encourage both staff and students to donate food and supplies for those in need.

Rev. Jean works with New Life Church on St James Street in Ashton-under-Lyne, a short walk from the college campus. All of the food and supplies collected are organised and then donated to individuals and families across Ashton who need it most.

If you would like to get involved by making a donation, please visit a collection point in college or speak to Rev. Jean.
