First tutor rep meeting of the year

23 November 2018

The first tutor representative meeting has taken place. The tutor representatives are a group of students who act as the voice for their fellow classmates. Each tutor group nominates a representative who acts on their behalf.

Led by the Student Council, the tutor rep meetings allow students to make real change at the college.

Their regular meetings allow students to raise any concerns or issues they have surrounding any aspect of college. It is also an open forum for students to express what works well at college too, ensuring that the positive areas and changes continue throughout the year.

The tutor rep meetings are also a place in which staff can present possible changes to students before any action is taken, in order to understand the student perspective.

Ashton Sixth Form College looks forward to seeing how this years team of tutor representatives influence the college this year.
