#WeStandTogether with London

6 June 2017

Ashton Sixth Form College stood together as a college community to pay their respects and remember those who have been affected by recent events in London on Saturday.

Lead by Chaplain Jean Hurlston, the college remembered those who lost their lives and gave thanks to the emergency services who responded so quickly.

The college recognises the importance of coming together as a community. During the national one minute silence, the college congregated in the area of Costa, where students and staff stood together.

Jean Hurlston said

Every one of us has the capacity to create a peaceful world and by standing together we will make this a better place.

If you have been affected by recent events, please speak to your Tutors, Teachers, the College Counsellor, Chaplaincy, Exams or any member of staff.
