Access to HE Diplomas can transform lives by enabling learners who do not have traditional qualifications to progress onto degree courses in higher education. Access to HE Diplomas are Level 3 qualifications that are widely recognised by universities throughout the UK, and they are ideal for adults who have been out of education for a long time.

This is a level 3 course and provides a pathway to - Nursing, adult nursing, and any other health and/or social care and related disciplines.

There is an opportunity to study GCSEs in English, Maths and Science, or Functional Skills Maths and/or English at evening classes alongside the Access program.

The course is aimed at adult learners returning to study who wish to pursue a career in a health-related profession and progress to degree-level study.

The overall cost of this course is £3384. If you are age 19-23 WITHOUT a Level 3 qualification, the course will be free. If you are 24+, you can apply for a student loan. Student Finance England will 'write off' any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balance you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a Higher education course. This means you do not have to repay it.

Awarding Body

This qualification is awarded by AIM. AIM is one of the leading AVAs delivering Access to HE Diplomas to over 80 colleges/training providers across the UK.

On successful completion, learners receive a national qualification which is accepted as a standard entry qualification by many HE providers in England and Wales.

Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Times: Tuesday at 10:30am until 4:00pm, Wednesday at 9:00am until 2:50pm, and Thursday at 12:30pm until 4:00pm.
