Students who have chosen the Written Word and History & Politics strand of the Realising Aspirations programme, began their university visits.

They visited the University of Birmingham to gain a greater understanding of university life. Trips as part of the aspirations programme allow students to make more informed decisions about their futures after leaving college.

While in Birmingham, year 12s were taken on a tour of the campus by Student Ambassadors currently studying a the university. They also participated in English Literature and Reformation and Rebellion in Tudor England taster sessions.
