Education and Health toy appeal breaks records

The Education and Health department held their annual fundraiser for the Tameside Christmas Toy Appeal.

This year, the students and staff have successfully raised over £2000! This astonishing amount has allowed them to purchase hundreds of toys which will will be donated to the Tameside 4 Good Christmas Toy Appeal.

The toys are for a range of age groups from babies through to teens and will be delivered to young people across the borough who otherwise may not receive a gift this year. The department fundraise annually and their drive to help people shines brighter each year. This year, they broke records, raising the most amount of money they have ever raised. They smashed last year's incredible amount by over £400!

In a year that has been challenging for many, the generosity of the college community has been inspiring. 

Each year, the Education and Health department continue to fundraise for Tameside 4 Good as the charity is extremely local. Head of Department, Guy, said,

"This will obviously make a huge difference to many families and as the charity is Tameside based many of our future students will benefit from this fantastic appeal."
