Law student graduates with 4 awards

Victoria Greenhalgh studied at Ashton Sixth Form College from 2015 to 2017. She studied Law (A*), Drama & Theatre and English Language at the college, and studied her high school education at All Saints Catholic College.

After gaining her A Levels at Ashton, Victoria went on to study Law at Leeds Beckett University. Throughout her degree, she has kept in contact with her teachers and tutor, visiting the college to speak to current students about her own experiences and the lessons she has learned studying Law at degree level. 

Her determination and dedication to Law has ensured her continuing success. In August 2020, Victoria achieved an incredible First class honours degree from Leeds Beckett University. 

Victoria gained First while achieving a number of prestigious awards including: 

  • The Stowe Family Law Award
  • The Ridley & Hall Solicitors Award for Mental Health Law 
  • The Thomson Reuters award for UK Anti-Terrorism Law
  • The Park Square Barristers Award for Best Graduating student on the course

Following her outstanding achievements, Victoria has now started the Barrister Training Course at BPP Law school in Leeds. She also received a major scholarship from the Inns of Court in London (Middle Temple) to help fund her course. 

Her former teachers and tutor at Ashton are extremely proud of her achievements. The college looks forward to hearing about the incredible things Victoria continues to achieve in the future.
