Photography students see the light

9 June 2020

Lockdown and the closure of the college campus has not stopped the creativity flowing for Ashton Sixth Form College's Art and Design students.

During the lockdown, students continued to work, developing their portfolios and honing their craft. Studying from home provided new challenges around communication but it allowed students to think outside of the box and find art in the most unusual of places.

A-Level Photography students were set a light project, encouraging them to look for and use light, both inside and out. The varied results show the incredible talent of this year's students.
