Healthcare visit to Huddersfield University

25 March 2019

Realising Aspirations students visited the University of Huddersfield.

Students who have chosen the 'Healthcare' strand of the programme travelled across the border and in to Yorkshire to explore the university.

In particular, the visit focussed on the health related courses Huddersfield offer including Midwifery, Operating Department Practitioner, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Sport Science and Nursing.

The students went on a campus tour to find out more about student life in Huddersfield. Healthcare students were then shown around the facilities and were able to try out some of the equipment they would use during a degree course.
