Student Council and PRISM raise money for MIND

15 February 2019

The Student Council and Prism joined forces on Friday in order to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind.

Students set up a bake sale in Costa during lunch time and managed to raise £130 for the charity in just two hours.

The Student Council is a group of students from across the college who want to make positive changes for students at Ashton. They meet regularly as a group and also with the college's Senior Leadership Team in order to voice the opinions of the student body.

Prism is the college's all inclusive LGBT+ alliance. The group meet regularly to act as both a social space for LGBT+ students and also as a platform for students to voice their opinions regarding LGBT+ relations within the college.
