IT visit the Google Digital Garage coding workshop

12 October 2018

ICT students visited the Google Digital Garage last week to take part in a coding workshop.

They travelled to Manchester City Centre to continue their Google training.

ICT students previously visited the Google Digital Garage to attend the first half of the coding workshop last academic year. This particular workshop in their second year was a continuation from the original workshop, further developing their learning. Students were also able to look closely at the web development tool Dreamweaver.

Throughout their time with Google, they explored HTML and its uses in depth looking at how websites are built from scratch.

ICT students consistently gain hands-on experience from industry experts throughout their course. While they develop their skills academically, they also have the chance to develop their personal skills in order to further their career prospects after college.
