Industry Workshop with British Film Institute

29 November 2017

The British Film Institute recently visited Digital Technology and Multimedia students at Ashton Sixth Form College.

Students had the opportunity to take part in an industry workshop and learn more about the opportunities available to them.

The British Film Institute was founded in 1933 and as a charity works to combine "cultural, creative and industrial roles" (BFI.org.uk). They presented a number of schemes available to the college's Digital Technology and Multimedia students such as the BFI Film Academy which encourages young people to play a role in the future film industry.

During the workshop, prizes were offered to those who showed great creativity, knowledge and teamwork. The winning team are picture above.
