Brain Day with Dr. Guy Sutton

21 November 2017

Psychology students recently took part in Brain Day 2017 with Dr. Guy Sutton. The lecture focussed on Biopsychology and Schizophrenia, allowing students to learn more about the research and developments that have been taking place in wider Psychology over recent years.

Dr Guy Sutton is the director of Medical Biology Interactive and honorary Lecturer at the University of Nottingham Medical School. His wealth of knowledge and research experience spans a number of years across the private and public sector, lecturing and visiting at universities in the UK and USA. The main objective of Brain Day is,

"Taking students beyond their studies at A-Level into more degree level work."

Throughout the day, students listened to Dr. Guy Sutton on a range of topics that delve in to the expansive areas of Biopsychology and Schizophrenia. As well as theoretical learning, the day includes a practical element and a dissection that really allows students to get involved and understand even further.
