Ashton Scarefest 2017

30 October 2017

Over the weekend, Ashton Sixth Form College's team of student ambassadors set up a stall on Ashton Market in honour of Scarefest 2017.

Organised by the Ashton Town Team, Scarefest in Ashton-Under-Lyne aims to bring together the community over the festive halloween period.

Local businesses, the Ladysmith, politicians and Tameside Markets create a day of activities and fun. Scarefest is for all ages including everything from window displays to classic cars, fancy dress to unique stalls. Student Ambassadors from the college, alongside Guidance Manager Hazel Kindley, are pictured above with The Civic Mayor of Tameside Councillor Joyce Bowerman. Below, Student Ambassadors are also pictured with Councillor Bill Fairfoull.

The college is proud to support the local community and meet local residents and visitors during events such as this.
