Remembrance Day Ceremony

11 November 2016

As a college community we remembered those who have been affected by warfare with a ceremony and silence at 11am.

All staff and students were invited to join us in the Courtyard as part of Armistice Day. Hundreds of people showed their support and paid their respects in a memorable and moving ceremony. Students from our Public Services department played a vital role in the service and also gave readings throughout, alongside the Chaplaincy. Staff and students lifted poppy petals in to the air, creating a tremendous tribute to our Armed Forces.

Thank you to our Public Services students and the Chaplaincy who were involved in the event.

We will remember them.
