During this course, students will learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of media, broadcast and production roles. This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in the media, broadcast and production sector.
Creative and Design T Level students will develop technical and practical skills from the beginning of the course, while becoming familiar with the workplace practices that are essential to safe and effective media, broadcast and production activities.
The course will cover content such as:
generating ideas for content creation through research and analysis of existing content
presenting initial ideas clearly
Working collaboratively with others
working in a group to develop ideas for projects and responding to client feedback
Management of all production documents such as scripts, call sheets and schedules
creating content through capturing video, pictures, graphics and sound in various formats using a range of creative techniques
Editing productions using specialised software to create complete products for an intended audience
The T Level route supports students going onto higher education (HE), courses include: Level 6 Events Management, Level 6 Media Studies, Level 6 Film Production & Content Creation.
