The Science & Maths departments offer courses catering for a range of interests. All are suitable for students wishing to pursue Science or Maths related careers, but courses can be taken by anyone with an interest in the subject.

» Level 3 AS/AGCE Biology
AS/AGCE Biology is a fascinating and popular choice of subject. Biology explains how everything alive works. You will you be able to identify different parts of the body and explain how they work, how diseases develop and how plants function.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE Chemistry
AS/AGCE Chemistry will try to explain the properties of substances in terms of atoms, molecules or ions. You will need to learn and understand a lot of theory but this will be supported by practical work whenever possible.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE Maths
AS/AGCE Mathematics is a subject which suits those people who relish a challenge and enjoy the beauty of solving problems.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE Further Maths
AS/AGCE Further Maths is an ideal subject for students who are good at maths and enjoy the subject as you will be studying this in addition to the single AS/AGCE in Maths.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE Physics
AS/AGCE Physics is about finding things out - about what lies behind everyday phenomena, as well as the more revolutionary concepts of quantum theory, relativity and cosmology.
» Level 3 National Certificate Forensic Science
The National Certificate is a fantastic course for students who enjoy all aspects of Forensic Science from law, psychology and crime scenes to fingerprinting, footprints and photography.
» Level 2 GCSE Maths
GCSE maths is an essential GCSE subject. If you missed out on a grade C in your GCSE Maths this 12 month re-sit course is your chance to boost your grade.
