MODERN LANGUAGES COURSES
The aim of the modern languages department is to give you maximum access to the language and culture of your chosen language, to enable you to speak, listen, read and write effectively at a higher level.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE French
AS/AGCE French aims to develop your competence in understanding, speaking and writing French and a deeper knowledge of the culture and civilisation of France.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE German
Students studying AS/AGCE German will have the opportunity to develop their speaking, listening, reading, translation and essay writing skills as well as to make a detailed study of German Culture and Society on this course.
» Level 3 AS/AGCE Spanish
AS/AGCE Spanish is suitable for students who have enjoyed and been successful in their study of Spanish at GCSE, this course offers an exciting next step. The focus on contemporary Spanish society and in particular those elements relating to young people make this an interesting and up to date course.
