We offer an exciting range of part time courses for adults including NVQs, Childcare & Teaching Assistant courses, Foundation Degrees, Skills for Life (English, Maths, ESOL), GCSEs, I.T. & leisure courses.

WELCOME TO THE HIGHER EDUCATION & SKILLS CENTRE
We offer a range of part-time courses giving local adults the chance to learn new skills, update existing ones, have fun and improve their job prospects. Our courses run during evenings at Ashton Sixth Form College; and at a range of community venues day and evening.
Some of our courses are free, or you may qualify for reductions in course fees, depending on your circumstances. If you are on any benefits, please bring documents to prove your status when you come to enrol.
Many courses for adults are career-related or work towards a qualification, however, we also offer courses for leisure interest.
We are a leading provider of adult education in the Tameside area and provide up-to-date and comprehensive information, advice and guidance on courses, careers and qualifications. We are committed to providing an excellent and confidential service to all clients/learners offering impartial information, advice and guidance.
