08.02.2010 - Media Students Experience IMAX3D
Second year Media students recently visited the Printworks in Manchester to see Avatar in Imax 3D.
After the film the students made the short journey to Urbis to view an exhibition entitled Manchester Television and the City: Ghosts of Winter Hill. The exhibition documented the development of television and included discussion on the future of digital television.
Will all TV and film eventually become 3D? The student’s opinions were split but they all agreed on how far the technology had developed.
